I took mine to sprint, and they said the humidity from my kitchen ruined the boards and told me the phone was trash..so good luck to you!

You need to send it to be opened and the board cleaned before it gets more corrosion on the ships and then for sure it will not be good

LG Xenon dropped in glass of tea.

So now you have "rice tea"? Try to recover it by opening it up and removing everything you can (battery, sim card, etc). Help it dry using a dry, clean source of blown air for 1/2 hour or so. Work the air around to blow out any moisture. Wait a day or so and do it again. Then assemble it and tell me and your friends if you liked the rice tea recipe.

Sanyo Katana's display is just white and won't display anything.

You may want to try to somehow update the firmware, it could just be a funny error. Otherwise just take it back to your dealer and get a new one.

Katana II likely water damage... Help!

Take the battery off, unfold the phone, set it in a warm, dry place and pray like heck. plugging it in may help it stay warm but leave it off.
If its minor water exposure it'll likely be fine in 2-3 days.

Dropped my Sanyo Katana cell in a cup of soda!!

probably too late but he first thing to don in that sit. is rinse the phone in a 75/25 solution of alcohol and water. then open up as you did and let it dry. if you can see water on the display screen your probably out of luck but keep it warm and dry for a few days and see what happens.
