Question about Samsung SGH-D900 Cellular Phone

1 Answer

I cannot use my Bluetooth device - it works only one-way

I cannot use my Bluetooth hand-free. 3 different brands - the same result. The connection is ok, the quality of sound is great but... If I make an outgoing call - everything is good, if I'm getting call from somebody my Bluetooth doesn't work (being connected) - I don't hear anything... It looks like one-way connection. Have no idea how to fix it.
Could you help please?
Thank you in advance.

Hello John,
You can download an application for your phone like Bluetooth Auto Connect from Google Play Store and it will auto connect your mobile to your car for you!
Also you can set a number of rules and priority for multiple bluetooth devices!
After you have download the application, connect and pair with your Bluetooth device manually (this is a requirement) and then just turn off and on Bluetooth (or leave Bluetooth on and turn the screen on) and it will auto connect.

How do i pair my samsung phone/bluetooth with my 2005 volvo S80

Which phones are compatible with my Volvo?
In the "Find a phone" section on this website, you will find a list of all phones tested with the Volvo Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone System. Select a Volvo vehicle and model year and click "Search" to find out more. Telephones will have varying degree of compatibility with the Bluetooth system in your vehicle, functionality is listed on the "Specifications" page. Telephones that are marked "Red" for major calling functions like making, accepting, and ending phone calls are generally not recommended by Volvo.

Will a Bluetooth®-enabled phone that is not on the list work?
If your phone is not on the Volvo-tested phone list, full or limited functions may be available. But since Volvo has not tested the telephone, no indications of whether the Volvo Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone system will operate correctly, or to its fullest capability, can be given.
When will new Bluetooth® phones be listed?
Volvo will continually test new Bluetooth® phones as they become available, and the test results will be published in the "Find a phone" section on this website. Volvo's ambition is to test as many of the most popular telephones as possible but with a special focus on high-end models from the largest telephone manufacturers. Since phone popularity varies significantly between nations, Volvo will not be able to provide testing that covers all the best-selling Bluetooth phones in all markets. For more information please contact your local Volvo dealership.

Why isn't my current Bluetooth® phone listed?
Existing Bluetooth® phones that are not listed are most probably not tested. A non-tested phone may be tested at a later point in time or it may not be tested at all. Because of the high number of new Bluetooth phones being introduced to the marketplace, Volvo will not be able to test all phones. In a few cases, a telephone is not listed because it has not passed Volvo testing. Major calling functions like making, accepting, and ending phone calls did not function properly and/or the Bluetooth connection was not stable.

Why does my Bluetooth® phone have different functionalities than what is indicated in the Volvo test results on this website?
This can happen if you have a different software version in your mobile phone than what was used in the testing of this specific phone. For details, please see the test results on the “Specifications” page in the “Find a phone” section. Please check your phone Owner's Manual for instructions on how to update your phone's software. Your phone can also show different compatibility than indicated by the test results if your Volvo has older Bluetooth® software installed than what was used for testing. Other factors also affect the test results of the Bluetooth system, e.g. functionality may differ depending on what network operator is being used. Therefore, the results can only be seen as an indication of what to expect from the Volvo Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone System.

My RAZR V3 won't pair with 2009 Chevrolet Silverado bluetooth

http://www.gm.com/vc/bluetooth/index.jsp?brand=chevrolet&landing=true
PAIRING A PHONE WITH YOUR 2009 Silverado

Before you begin:

To take advantage of the Bluetooth for Chevrolet functionality, you must first pair a Bluetooth-enabled phone to a Bluetooth-enabled vehicle.

Note: If you do not pair a Bluetooth-enabled phone, all calls will be made using OnStar® Hands-Free Calling.3

Some additional tips:

1. You can pair up to five phones with your 2009 Silverado.
2. Your system automatically recognizes the first phone you pair. To use a different paired phone, you must
select it using the "Change Phone" command.
3. Only one paired cell phone can be connected to your system at a time.
4. When the vehicle is in motion, you cannot pair a phone.
5. Pairing should only need to be completed once (unless changes to the pairing information have been made, or the
phone is deleted).

PAIR YOUR PHONE

Set up phone - Turn Bluetooth 'ON':

1. From the main screen, select "Menu"
2. Select "Settings & Tools"
3. Select "Connections"
4. Select "Bluetooth"
5. Select "Setup"
6. Select "Power"
7. Select "On"

Set up vehicle - Enter 'Pairing' mode:

1. Press and hold the Push to Talk button for two seconds
2. Your system will respond with a "Ready" message followed by
a tone
3. Clearly say "Bluetooth"
4. Your system will respond with a "Bluetooth ready" message
followed by a tone
5. Clearly say "Pair"
6. Your system will respond with instructions and a four-digit
Personal Identification Number (PIN); you will need to enter
this PIN on your phone

Begin the pairing process on your phone:

1. From the main screen, select "Menu"
2. Select "Settings & Tools"
3. Select "Connections"
4. Select "Bluetooth"
5. Select "Hands free"
6. Select "Look For Devices"
7. Select "General Motors"
8. Select "Yes" to bond with General Motors
9. Enter the PIN code provided by the vehicle
10. Select "OK"

Finish the pairing process in your vehicle:

1. The system will prompt you to give a name to your phone
2. Say a name that best describes your phone (example: Corey's
phone); this name will be used to indicate which phone is
connected
3. Your system will ask you to confirm your name
4. If you confirm that name, the system will respond with the
message: "'<Phone name>' has been successfully paired"

Connecting hands free with nokia 6600

BDEATH here. A first NOKIA 6600 i noticed that on some brands works just fine. i had the same as yours and it was a logitech hands free headset.. Try 2 ways. first one is to search for a new bluetooth device by sending a photo, and then save the bluetooth device name. Second just find your bluetooth settings and try to turn it on. It may asked you to look for devices by itself. In both cases have your device turn ON.
