Thank 4 the advice Sir Lugnut. It was my hardrive causing the E 68. Does this mean that I have to get another hard Drive, or can it be repaired. I have an Xbox live Account Stored in it.

Is this an Xbox 360? If so...
I found this on the WEB for ya.

E68: Voltage Error... This error means that the Xbox 360 has insufficent power to function properly. This can be caused by an error in the hard drive or the fans that make them **** up too much power, it can also be caused if you have unnecessary accessories attached to the console like an external fan unit. Attempt to remove unnecessary accessories first, and then necessary components such as the hard drive and USB devices. If you have any case mods you may want to investigate those as well.

Not real sure how to remedy the situation other a return trip to Microsoft. You could, however, try unplugging the power supply for a couple of hours, with the HD off, and see if it will reset itself.

    Just a thought, good luck.

We have an error 68

Error 68 usually means that there is a hard drive failure.
  1. Try taking off the hard drive and starting the xbox.
  2. If the gray screen still comes up then it's a hardware failure in the xbox.
  3. You have 2 options, send it into microsoft or buy a new hard drive.

1 Red Light, error E 68

E68 is an hard drive error, turn it off and remove your hard drive, try to play a game without it, if it works, turn it off again, replace the hard drive and see how you get on, if it still will not work can you try the hard drive on another xbox, this will tell you if its a problem with the hard drive or an internal problem with the box.
Vote if this helps.

What is E68 and how do i fix it? when i switched on my xbox 360 a red light appeared in the bottom left of the power switch and a system error appeared on the screen with E 68 what is this and how do...

The E68 error means that your hard drive is either broken or not connected propperly. Turn the xbox off and take out your hard drive and put it back in. When you put it back in make sure that you hear it click at the back of the xbox. then turn it on. if it still doesent work your hdd is ruined and youll have to get microsoft to fix it.
