There is no workable solution to this problem. The camera only supports 1GB :-( May be time for an upgrade and use the current camera for special purposes--like a child's first camera.

Inserted 4G memory card...says memory card is full...when I try to format the card, get filesys error e00100.....

The C330 uses MMC and SD cards. Your 4GB card is actually an SDHC card. While SDHC cards will fit into SD slots, they are electronically incompatible and won't work. You need to go with cards 2GB and smaller.

My camera won't accept new 2GB SD card. Keep

Do you have pics on the internal memory? You must format the internal memory with no card in the camera. Then, format the card.

I removed the memory card from my casio exilim ex-z75 while it was still on, and now get "card error" when I turn it on (if it even goes on). I've tried a PNY 2GB SD card, and both a 64MB and a...

Hey! I did this today in my camera, trying to solve another problem (it asks for me to set up date, language and time every time I turn the cam on)... and I got the same error as yours. If you can still turn it on, push MENU while it is on, before the error message appears. And then go to SET UP and choose format card. Then it should work. Good luck!

2GB SD card is brand new but camera says it is full.

Some of the older cameras will not take the bigger cards. You can use the bigger card with your computer to store your photos.

Buy a 1GB card (or 2). The spec for the SD card format is going to 2GB but the Kodak C330 not compatible with 2 GB SD memory cards.

SD card

I have the same camera, save the colour (black). As soon as I read your post, an alarm went off. I decided to re-check my User Guide (PDF Eng version, page16), for the Lumix DMC-FZ30:
•On this unit, you can use SD Memory Cards of the following capacity (from 8 MB to 2 GB). Please confirm the latest information on the following website:
http://panasonic.co.jp/pavc/global/cs
(This Site is English only.) • This unit supports SD Memory Cards formatted in FAT12 system and FAT16 system based on SD Memory Card Specifications. • This unit does not support MultiMediaCard for recording motion pictures. • The reading/writing speed of a MultiMediaCard is slower than an SD Memory Card. When a MultiMediaCard is used, the performance of certain features may be slightly slower than advertised. • After recording motion pictures using the MultiMediaCard, the card access indication may appear for a while, but this is not a malfunction. • Keep the Memory Card out of reach of children to prevent swallowing.
8MB, 16MB, 32MB, 64MB, 128MB, 256MB, 512MB, 1GB, 2GB (Maximum)

PNY 2GB memory card

I have the same camera and bought a 4GB PNY SD card and it wouldn't work, so I read the manual :) The manual says, "SD Memory Cards having the following storage capacity can be used on your camera (Toshiba PDR-3330):
8MB, 16MB, 32MB, 64MB, 128MB, and 256MB"
Hope this helps! -Kim

The camera has 16 MB of internal memory. Memory capacity can be expanded with 16MB, 32MB, 64MB, 128MB, 256MB, 512MB up to a maximum of 1 GB SD or MMC cards.
