How to remove MMC write-Protect on the PC

Please help us so I haven't solve to remove write-protect

Are you using cardreader? if so then try to remove the memory card and insert it again. look for the switch it must be the reason why its write protected.

Remove write protect mmc


There should be a small slide switch along one edge of the card that locks it. try sliding this back and forth a few times and make sure you leave it in the unlock position.

Dear Friend,
you have to check the Following
  • Make Sure Your MMC is NOT PASSWORD PROTECTED
  • Your Card Reader properly Connected to PC(Make Sure GOOD in Condition about the Reader)
  • Properly Inserted MMC to READER
  • Change USB port if Still Not Detecting
  • Try another MMC to Reader
  • Reinsert your MMC
  • Reboot your PC
Remove Lock of MMC(Lock might be in Left Side of Your MMC).Still you have Problem Please Change your CARD READER/MMC ...
YOu are done...Solved.....

Write protect?


Hi,

Please ensure you have not activated the lock on your SD or MMC card as this will cause this problem. See example photo below.

Memory card write protect?


i had same problem..couldn't solve it with tape over the lock switch and many other ways.. so i purchased a usb card reader (about $5 max) and now it works fine!...just make sure the lock is off!

point out a file to unprotect. and right click your mouse and go to properties and select it as archive (or) un hidden
if same problem
some virus cases try to scan or delete virus using some antivirus software. and try it
(or)
finaly go to formate your memory card.(in case your files or deleted) only use this as alost chance

u can format u r memory card by pc .....

use fat32 file system format u r memory card,,

I am facing a problem of remove write protection on my mmc card


Hey there hakka, on the card itself there is a small switch located on the side of the card. It should have "Lock" and arrow next to it. Simply slide it to the unlock position. Hope it helps. Good Luck!
