Hi There!!
Im having some trouble with my iPod i'd love any help i can get!
I have a 30g iPod and it has trouble syncing. When i plug it in it, it only syncs around 4gb of songs, even though its capacity is 30g. There is nothing else on it. When its taken in this amount of music, a warning comes up saying either, 'Attempting to copy to the disk failed. an unknown error occurred (-69)', 'Attempting to copy to the disk failed. an unknown error occurred (-53)' or 'the iPod ___ cannot be synced, the required disc space cannot be found'. I have resetted and restored it loads and nothing works. sometimes only one songs shows up on the ipod! If it helps, im using vista and the latest version of itunes (7.7 i think). Please help me im desperate :)
Cheers!!

Thank you for contacting Fixya Support, I am glad to assist.
An -69 error with an iPod occurs when iTunes sends a file or few files to your iPod, which may be corrupted and therefore unusable.
In order to remedy this issue, it is advisable to run the latest iTunes update and per this link directly from Apple Support which address this issue, try the steps provided in this support link below:
Follow the steps listed in this Apple article and you should be able to regain access to syncing your iPod in iTunes, whether on a Mac or PC, without further issue.
for syncing of songs in apple ipod u need to have itunes downloaded from google. then u import those songs into itunes and then syn it in ipod with previous songs removed
Well if you bought it off of ebay or some other internet site you might have bought a clone ipod that only syncs with windows media player, but if you bought it from a certified Apple reseller than I dont think I know. goodluck !
hi guys dont worry about it. its not really a major problem because sometimes the ipod has really really tiny malfunctions like this and no, im not from the apple store so dont ask anyway all you have to is this: plug in your ipod to the computer using the usb cable. now it should say that it is syncing if not, sync your ipod. while it is syncing, press cancel sync on your ipod touch and it should cancel and take you back to the home screen. This shouldnt happen again but if it does, at least you have a way to return to your home menu cya :)
Itunes can sync infinite ipods and should have no trouble, so there isnt a problem with having two ipods. Try this: turn off your ipod, hold the home button, and plug it into
itunes while still holding the home button until a picture of the itunes symbol
appears with a cable under it. itunes should say "ipod found in restore
mode". this will get rid of any previous users' settings, and hopefully fix anything preventing itunes from syncing with your ipod.
well im not sure on how to fix your sync problem but there are ways to get your songs back just go on google or apple.com and youll see billions of diffrent answers but you just have to find the right one
