Thank you! We took our Duet 9150 apart and found that ALL THREE support arms were cracked. Same problem with shredded front tub also. My washer is a little over 7 years old. I called Whirlpool at the above number (you can't get "warranty service" but the parts service lady transferred me to the warranty dept). They were most helpful, and are shipping me both the metal tub AND the plastic which the metal destroyed, free of charge. Apparently your experience has shown them they have a problem with this...or I got a more helpful service agent!
in the meantime, you can try cleaning out the pump.
This is how:
There is a kick plate underneith the door and below that plate there are 3 (hex) screws. Once you take the plate off, there should be a filter right before your eyes. Whirlpool makes it easy to access it. Clean the filter and I think you'll be ok.
Try that first before you spend $79 on a service technician.
