You shouldnt be able to open the door when the washer has started and for a few minutes after it gets finished. Id=f you can then you have a faulty safety switch. The only way to open it when its started is to turn the dial to stop, and wait a few minutes until the lock turns off ( you will hear a click) then you can open the door, if its filled with water, then you shouldnt open it unless you want a puddle, you can put in on spin and get the water out before opening the door

Hope that helps

Le Error on front load machine

Hello,This a common problem for all front loaders. Your washer will not drain or work 'cause your outlet filter is clogged. Usually this small door is on the left side front below of your washer. Expect some water to come out when you open the door, etc. Clean out your filter and refit.....things should be fine.

Thanks

My LG front loader is washer leaking water.

Could be the bladder from the drum to the door of the door seal. It could also be the drain pump hose.

Mold and mildew in door deal of LG front loader WM

Barb,

This is a problem with all front loaders. We have used those cleaning tablets in a regular hot cycle per the directions on the box. You can also try placing 1 cup of crystal dishwashing detergent in the tub and fill the soap dispenser with bleach and run a quick cycle full hot.

This is normal, the unit usually goes into a SD or slow down mode. To stop this press the start pause button and the door will unlock.

sometimes you just have to force the door but first try hitting the machine near the door lock sometimes this helps the door interlock may be stuck in the closed position
