strange, but this is a card - not just integrated into the mb. I have it in my hand. i doubt I'll be able to find a replacement however.

The video card is replaceable and is relatively simple for those comfortable with laptop disassembly.

Probably impossible. Most laptop graphics chips are soldered directly to the motherboard requiring a new motherboard if one dies, and very few are actual "cards." That being said, it looks like your's is a nVIDIA GeForce4 420 Go which might
be a card. I'll do some research and find out.

Well if you look at picture for Step 25 here:
It does say that it's the "video board." It looks like it's replaceable, so if you can find a replacement card then it should be possible. Unless you are very comfortable following the guide starting at:
I wouldn't recommend it.
