Depends on if you got the extended package and what your dealer offered at the time of purchase, But I would certainly check with the dealer, about that leak, but I doubt the power steering hose problem added to that

MY IMPALA 2007 LT IS LEAKING OIL GASKET WAS REPLACED TWO MONTHS BACK IT HAD BEEN FINE BUT JUST YESTERDAY OIL PRESSURE LOW SENSOR CAME ON & NOW I NOTICE IT'S HAVING A SLOW WATER DRIP PROBLEM AS

Yes or a small bypass hose. You may be able to get a loan of a tester at autozone, oreilys, or advance autoparts. You want a radiator pressure tester. Do not exceed the cap rated pressure. When the engine is warm, you can add pressure and look for water seepage.

There are also chemicals to add to detect leaks if the first method is unsuccessful.

I have a 2006 Chev Impala and was told my power steering fluid was low. Can I buy my own fluid and add more myself or does it have to be flushed first and add all new fluid?

you can add it yourself it should be labeled on the cap brake fluid and it should even tell you what kind of brake fluid. then there should be a dip stick on the cap use that to make sure you dont put to much in

GM has announced a recall for the Impala and Malibu for the power steering, please contact your local dealer and they should take care of the problem for you.

My Impala lt 2006 power steering hose is blowing i took to a mechanic 2wice still if i run for 2 hrs it will blow again

is it the pressure hose or the return hose?
if its the pressure hose and your power steering is working fine before it blows then the releaf valve is bad in the pump and you would need too replace the pump also
if its the return hose then they are either not clamping it or its not strong enough too hold the pressure e.g. wrong one for it!!!

No pwr steering assist turning left only @ idle/low speeds

Get yourself some Lucas Oil.
Remove about a cup of oil from your power steering reservoir.
Replace with a cup of Lucas Oil
I used it on my truck steering and within two days of running no more steering problems
