Toshiba satellite c675 monitor light up but not displaying anything

Hook up an external monitor to determine if you have a logic board or LCD problem If the external monitor works the trouble is with the display or its cables. You should also double check that your memory is properly installed and you may want to replace your bios battery. you will need to aquire a toshiba manual for your laptop to help you fix these issues. here is the link for finding your manual Search

Why won't my Toshiba Satellite L655 laptop connect trough HDMI anymore?

Check your settings, both bios and display, for the display priority.Either the settings has been set to inbuilt display and thus cant display on external monitors or the external monitors have been disconnected in bios settings

Hi, my toahiba satellite m305d s4828 backlight isn't working, i already replaced the lcd inverter but it still didn't work, i dont know what to do anymore

The problem might not be with the LCD inverter. There is a possibility that you have a faulty LCD screen cable. The LCD cable transfers data signal from the motherboard & video card to the LCD screen. It also supplies high voltage DC power to the screen inverter board.
Please check this possibility.

Screen is blank (no video), even when connected to to an external monitor. I presume at this point that it's a problem with the on-board graphics processor. Notebook appears to power-up normally. Notebook...

will video work when first booting?? try to start in safe mode then if you have restore disk or applications disk remove the display video in hardware manager, sometimes the drivers get corrupted, thei may re-install video drivers. al so you might go into bios and check for setup defaults hope this works. have had similar situations on diffirerent systems. some laptops have a Fn key Function key so when you have external monitor up to system it switched=s from laptop monitor to external little picture on keys usually on or near function keys.

Can't connect to external monitor or to Sony bravia tv. When vga connected nothing happens at all on laptop but external monitor says " check cable" ( have tried another cable ). If connected in power off...

You need to:

- Connect everything with the laptop turned off
- Boot the laptop
- Use the Fn key plus F8 or F9 (I'm trying from a small picture of the keyboard!) to cycle through the external display options.

Toshiba satellite m305D screen blanks out after powering up. Power button light is on but the audio controls lights are still off.

do you see anything on screen to begin with?
if nottry removing ram individually.
use an external monitor to see if you have video if you do then you need to tighten the lcd harness as i have noticed on a great many m305's that the lcd and harness become separated, causing the lcd to flicker
if not you need a motherboard

My Toshiba Satellite M305D-S4830's screen will flicker black randomly with no aggrevating and occasionally will fade to white or black completly.

I recommend you to reinstall the display drivers of your laptop as the issue may occur due to the corrupted display drivers.

Uninstall the display drivers from Device Manager.
Expand Display devices.
Right click on the display device and select Uninstall.

On restarting the laptop, windows will detect the device and reinstall the display drivers.

You can even install the display drivers from your notebook support website:
