Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console
This happens when the disc touches the laser lens when the console is moved while the game is in it playing. You can fix this by either buying a monster clean screen cleaner or just go to your local Gamestop or Gamecrazy and have them buff your disk. It happened to me a few times, i got it buffed and everything is brand new.

Dude, your game is Broken. All of yours are. The ring occurs when the Xbox is moved with a disk in it while playing. It really sucks and recently happened to me. You are gonna have to buy a new one, because it is considered "User Damage" and they won't give you a new copy.

To prevent putting a ring around disc make sure you have somthing to hold the system in place, if you don't, then have it placed flat on the floor.if you want to move it some place elts then take the game out first. this happend to me several times. i don't think you could get them fixed if the ring gose around the whole disc.

SOURCE: my xbox360 slim keeps giving
That can't be fixed unfortunately. I know what you are talking about, as it happened to my Call of Duty : Modern Warfare 2 cd. This probably happened if you knocked it over or hit it while you were playing a game. My personal workaround was to use a friends disk to install the game to my hard drive, and play the game using my disk. The game worked from there.
