Pls try to connect the camcorder to your pc if you have a firewire and capture the audio recording. you can also download mymp3 audio recorder at download.com for free and record the music while playing. at this point, you can save the music to mp3 or wav file then burn it to cd if thats what you want to do so you can give a copy to your friends. hope this helps.

Yes, all you have to do is compile all the songs to a folder then burn it to your computer by using nero ( make audio cd option ) or other software that can make audio cd. thats it, youve got a copy of the songs in one cd. regards

eBay is the best place to look for things like this - you will find many of them for very reasonable, some aftermarket, some original.

Codecs anyone?

I have the same camera, and found out that the VRO file is just MPEG2. So copy the VRO file onto your computer from your disc. Once its on your harddrive, you can right click on it and go to properties. Re-name your file from VRO to MPG, making sure that you still have the original VRO file in case you need it for other programs. Once I change it to MPG file name, I can use media player to play it and I have a DVD movie maker where i can edit and record to DVD.

Can I playback my movies on a DVD-ROM drive?

No, DVD-RAM disc recorded on the DVD Camcorder will not play back on every drive. Some of the new DVD-ROM drives designed to be compliant with the new DVD-RAM book2 standards will playback discs recorded on the DVD Camcorder. Many previous DVD-ROM drives on the market that came out before the DVD-RAM standard was released will not play back discs recorded on the DVD Camcorder. HITACHI manufactures DVD-ROM drives for some PC manufactures as OEM products. HITACHI model GD-7500 DVD-ROM has DVD-RAM read/write compatibility.
