Hello, this simply could because due to two reasons,
1.its either you did not insert your sim card properly into your mobile phone,or your mobile phone network settings is tampered with,if it is tampered with you will have to get the settings done by following the steps below,
menu>settings>phone settings>network settings>then you select the name of your service provider there,then click on save.that has gotten the settings done.
2.its either your mobile phone is locked to a particular network and might not work if another simcard is inserted,unless you get the phone unlocked from your service provider,it will not work as supposed.

This phone is unlock so no company, the Sim card pin is accepted ( Sim card from telestial, seems to be from UK originally named "Simple Calling"). They tell you to dial 2 if you are in US or 1 outside before the PIN # , but we found after multiple trials that it is the opposite!!! So we fix it.
