Radio was working, it has been working. I checked & tested all power up into the holding cradle. Evrithig has power, yet it will not turn on no matter what I try? The delphi.com that's mentioned on the users guide cant find any tech support there. Can anyone help? please!

I have the Skyfi 2 with car cradles. I have had them for about 7-8 years. I bought two brand new power cords to use with the cradles so I could move the Skyfi 2 to different vehicles. Neither power cord will power up the Skyfi 2 when in the cradle. I contacted the company I bought them from and they sent me two more cords. These cords are brand new as well. They too do not power the unit. My original power cord still powers the unit but I am trying to eliminate having to move it to each vehicle. I then bought a complete unopened kit from ebay. Using the new kit parts only, my Skyfi 2 will not power up. Did they change the kit since I bought mine and now it is not compatible. Everything looks identical so it is driving me nuts. Any help is appreciated, Thanks!
This problem is caused due to the fact that xm has designed there radios to completely shut off all power with the unit therefore the unit once off will not be able to recieve information from the remote. This manufacturing defect was confirmed by the xm representative, they also explained that the company is currently planning to fix this issue on the new 2009 model xpress rc
I have 2 of these I got at a yard sale and both had the dim screen
problem.I took 1 apart and everything looked fine.Put it back
together and put it back on the cradle and still did not work TILL I
squeezed down on the connection to the cradle and the radio. It lit up fine.Same with the other one.Its the bottom connection in the
radio that is worn from taking it in and out of the cradle all the time.
My XM radio had the same problem but it was the power cord that
wore out from taking the radio out every night and it powered up eratically like it was shorting out.Try squeezing it down on the
cradle and see what happens.
Just installed the xpress RC in my Durango, replacing my SKYFi2. Both units are Delphi (all of the newer xpress RC's are made by Audiovox now, but Amazon sent me the Delphi made unit). Everything swapped out with the exception of the 12dc power cord. Had to use the one included in the new unit, plug size that goes in the new cradle for the RC is different. In the new unit I did get two "user guides" in Spanish and none in English (I wish America would adopt one friggin standard language. English) but other than that it was quick and painless.
Turned unit on and setup 88.3 FM and I get no connection to any stereo? The Antenna is about 75% or better signal but no sound at all. I plug my old Roady XT into the same power and antenna and it works fine on any FM frequency?? Any help would be great.
