hi Renee!i dont think that by clearing downloads you unistall drivers of any hardware.and iam pretty sure for that.the only way to uninstall a driver is from control panel through uninstall programs. go to start tab and type [ device manger ] a control panel will open and from there you will find your webcam as a hardware,open it up and scan for driver updates. ihope i was usefull!

1 First connect it with ur PC with the data cable provided along with it.
Go to the My computer icon. right click on it. Select manage. one window will pop up select device manger and the in the right side a window will come . select the option of USB. The port with which ur hardware is connected will show with yellow error mesage. slect that port and unistall the driver and select the main menu of the USB and select the option scan for the hardware changes. 2 If it detects ur hardware device then ur device is ok no physical damage. 3 Reinstall the OS with the help of the CD provided along with this player 4 Read the manual carefully before installing the OS.
Please note that never format the MP3 player while installing the Os the manual caonatins step by step procedure to install the OS follow that only.
If you format the MP3 player then ur Mp3 player willl be permannetly damaged.

This is generally cause by a driver glitch. Go into the device manager and unistall the wireless drivers, then reboot. It will find the wireless hardware and reinstall the drivers.
