Try to unplug the power cable of your printer and DO NOT press the power button just unplug the cable immediately.while the power cable is unplug press the power button for 5 secs.after that insert back the power cable..go to control panel and check if the printer has a green check mark and it syas ready..if the printer doesnt have the check mark or it says offline, right click on the printer and select USE PRINTER ONLINE...try to print again and am sure it will work.....

Make print larger

Your computer software (ie, Windows) will determine the print size, not the printer. The printer just takes the image from the computer and prints it. As example, you can increase the text font size of your document to make the text larger on your printer.

My hp photosmartc6200 printer reduces print size when printing How do I stop this

Check that in the printer setup window on your computer that you don't have "Fit to page" set. It would be possiblle that your print area is slightly too large and the printer is adjusting it downward to fit.

Printed font size too small

Most web browsers have an option to change the text size on the page you are viewing. In IE8 it is accessible through the Page menu, Text Size. It defaults to Medium, and there are 2 smaller sizes and 2 larger sizes available.

Hi Audrey-

There are many things that will effect how your printer handles paper. The most overlooked being the size of the document or image to be printed. If the image or text bleeds over the edges (left, right, top, bottom) of the document, several sheets can be ejected before the "visible" printing takes place. Often those first few pages look blank, but actually are the outer edges of your picture or text. If you are printing a large picture or large text document, this may be your situation. Try printing a document with just a few words on it (like a small email) as a test.

The second most common culprit is dusty, dirty feed rollers in the printer. Consult your HP 1310 series manual for instructions on cleaning the feed rollers, or consult this general cleaning article on HP.com. HP PSC 1310 All-in-One Printer series cleaning

The type of paper can also effect how many sheets are pulled into the rollers. Is the paper new?, Thick?, Very thin?, or is it the same ol' printer paper you've always used? Either way, remove the stack of paper from the feed tray, "fluff" it by fanning it (like flipping through a book very quickly, or the way Superman counts a stack of money!) and replace. Print a test page.

Let me know if this helps!

Installation problem

This printer is compatible with Vista. Try stopping and restarting the Spooler service. Follow the following steps to do this:

1. Click on Start, in the Search box, type services.msc
2. Click on Services.msc in the pane
3. Locate "Print Spooler" service
4. Right Click on the service and click on "Stop" if the service is started and click on "Start" if the service is stopped.
5. If the service was started, right click on it again and this time click on "Start"

If this does not solve the problem, you can visit the following link:

The device software is also available at the following link. If nothing works, you can try downloading and installing this software.

The print is so small you can hardly read it. Probably a 6 font or so.

Try going to " View" and then go to Text size on the drop down menu, and then go to "Large".
