I have dslextreme working on a westell wirespeed on one of them. I tried to install the 2wire on the other one but I think I am not hooking the pieces together properly. You need to have DSL service at your house. If you do, reset your modem. tambien it could be that your dsl filters are not installed.

I have a wirless routor for my labtop. I was trying to send my homework in when it came on the screen that the password changed I can't get back on what do i do?

At the back of the router there will be a reset button use a tooth pick or a paper clip, press and hold that reset button for 1 min. the password will be removed.
But remember if u have any other PC or laptop that will stop going online. U have to connect to ur wireless network again. It will come back to normal.
Hope this helps.

Stronger Wireless Signal with 2701HGB Router?

Netgear's web site has an excellent tutorial on how to do this. It involves turning off the DHCP on the Netgear, and linking the LAN prots of the two routers. There is no connection to the WAN port of the Netgear.

Here's the link http://kbserver.netgear.com/kb_web_files/n101236.asp

Purchase a different router and return the 2wire to the ISP explaining it is not compatible with your equipment at home. You may need to provide them with the new router's MAC address.

Can any computer connect to the internet?
You said you connected the computer with the cable to the 2wire using an ethernet cord, did it go to the internet?

Do you have a modem connected with the 2wire? (not a computer modem)

Do you have the DSL package or Cable package from Time Warner?

Tring to bridge my 2wire

Why do you need to bridge?

Can't you use both devices off the one router?

usually to bridge you would need, effectively , 2 extra access points to set as the bridges, they then connect to the other routers, allowing communication between the 2.

I do know 2wire is slightly different but you would still need something to act as a bridge on the netgear end.

I still don't understand why you need both routers running. Connect both your computers to the same router which has the internet connection.

Hope this helps
