SOURCE: no cold water Whirlpool top load washer AP595033

Your cold water celenoid has gone out. There is no way to just replace the cold itself, So you have to buy the whole water valve. That will fix ya up!

The radiator cap is on the box on the box on the firewall not on the radiator but never heated up before he added the other hose n it looks backwards top hose on box to bottom of radiator n vise versa I...

the top box as your calling it is the coolant expansion vessel and the cap is obviously for topping up coolant, the hose on the top of this vessel is the hose that carries the expanded coolant from the engine so that there is not to high a build up of pressure, the hose at the bottom of expansion vessel goes to the bottom hose via another set of hoses which link up the heater matrix, there is a top and bottom hose on the radiator , the top goes to the engine with the thermostat inline ,the bottom hose goes to the water pump for circulation .let me know your vehicle make and model , year etc and i'll find a diagram for you

Took apart the washer and dryer and need to put it back together...i have everything except where the clear plastic hose goes

Kristen-follow the hoses-water comes into machine at the water supply valves-hot and cold which go into the tub-then there is a drain pump which is connected to the tub via a hose-the out put of the drain pump is connected to the drain through the back of the machine usually at the bottom and this goes into your houses' drain-follow the hoses and you shall reach laundry success-cheers Denny

I moved my washer and didn't notice how the hoses were connected. Is the hot on top or bottom? Thanks

There should be markings on the washer near the inlet valve that will have a "H" or "C" for hot or cold. If not, hook the hoses up and run cold water only. If the water comes out hot, you will know that the hoses are crossed. It won't hurt anything to run the machine this way.

I believe the water temp switch is bad. It will start filling on warm then stop if I put it on hot it will fill with cold water. I have cut the hot water off to achieve this but when it reaches rinse it...

it sounds to me that the hoses are connected to the machine incorrectly. Typically if the plumber ran the water lines behind washer correctly the hot pipe is on the left and the cold pipe is on the right sometimes thats backward and be determined by touching hoses while filling on warm setting and see which hose feels hot. On the back of washer they where they connect hot goes on the bottom and cold on top

I believe it is the water pump but, I would like to confirm. When the washer is filling up it leaks out from the bottom.

If you are sure it's leaking during the fill cycle, check the hose that goes from the fill valve (the plastic part that the washing machine hot and cold hoses hook up to) to the top of the tub. From the fill valve follow the hose that goes toward the top of the tub and look for loose clamps or fittings. Along the way, there is an item called an 'air gap' that prevents water from siphoning back into the water supply. Look for cracks in this component. Finally, check the fill spout for proper alignment and mounting or cracks.

Very little hot water runs in tub

you either have a problem with the house water supply going to the washer and you can remove the hot water hose from the washer, first shut down the water, stick the end of the hose inside the washer and turn the water supply back on,if the water comes out normal then you have a bad water valve on the back of the washer.call your parts store and give them the full model number off of the washer, open the lid, follow it down to the bottom and right under the bottom of the lid you'll see the model number

I have a LG washing machine Model # WM2688H*M it has a slight leak that I traced to a small black hose. The hose is in the back of the machine that goes from the bottom of the drum to the top somewhere...

It's not likely the hose is leaking, but rather water is leaking from somewhere else and is running down the outside of that hose. Remove the washer top by taking out the two phillips head screws from the bottom of the plastic clips on the back side of the washer's top. Now, stand in front of the machine and use the palms of you hands to sharply push the top cover back about 2 inches, then lift the cover off. Look for the water leak. The most likely suspect is a water inlet valve.

Radiator problems

it may be a little off, but the lower water hose seldom gets very hot,, as its this hose that suplyes the engine with ""cold water"" the hot water comes out the top hose,, drains down the rad and cools on the way down then enters the engine through the bottom hose """if your engine stayes running in the normal place on the gage,,,and not over heating""" why are you spending money for nothing???""
you wont get the bottom hose to run hot unless the engine is cooking

Washer leaks out of the bottom. checked drain hose it is not plugged, checked hot and cold water hoses they're ok.

REMOVE THE TOP OF WASHER AND CHECK THE WATER INLET VALVE. I HAVE DONE EVERYTHING AND FINALLY DISMANTLED THE WASHER UNTIL I FOUND THE HOT WATER INLET VALVE WAS LEAKING FROM THE TOP AND DRIPPING DOWN THE TUB AND ENDING UP ON MY FLOOR. IT WILL DRIP EVEN WHEN THE WASHER IS NOT ON DUE TO THE PRESSURE BUILT UP ON THE VALVE.
