Connection in inter net

Hello. For connecting to internet with your PSP, you have to follow these steps:

1. Press home and go by pressing 2. You have to choices. Ad-Hoc (when the connection is realized between two PSPs) and Infrastructure Mode (when you connect to a local wifi device). This is what you will select.
3. Choose New Connection
4. Enter a different name so you can remember it easily. (To enter a new connection name, press X and you will see a keyboard screen. Press Enter and X.
5. If you turned on your WLAN switch (On the lower left edge of your PSP is a small slider switch which you have to slide it upwards) then you will see a status message "Scanning. Please wait"
6. You will see now some network connections. You need to know the password of it in order to access it.
7. Select one and press to continue.
8. When you see Adress Settings press easy. Then you will get a confirmation screen. Press > to save your settings.
9. Press X and make a test connection.

I hope I helped!

Where is the AOSS button on PSP?

AOSS is like setting up a connection with one touch of the button on your rotuer, and it gives your PSP all the info it needs. You cant just "press" it on your PSP for it to work, you need to do it on your router and PSP. But if I were you just scan for a connection. Its more efficent.

You can go online with the PSP system and browse the Internet. To start browsing the Internet
  1. Check your PSP system set up:
    • Infrastructure Mode
Make sure your PSP system is set up for Infrastructure mode.
See Setting up Infrastructure mode for details.

    • Internet Connection
Make sure you have an internet connection and your PSP is within range of the wireless access point (or hotspot).
PSP®online connectivity requires internet service and network devices, suchas a DSL or cable modem and a wireless router - for example, a Wi-Fihotspot at a café or a wireless local area network (WLAN) in your home.

    • System Software
Make sure you've got the latest System Software.
Requires PSP system software version of 2.0 or higher. Visit PSP System Software Update to download and install the most recent version.

    • WLAN switch
Make sure the WLAN switch on the left side of the PSP system is turned on so that the PSP system can connect to the internet.

  4. Enter the address for the web page you want to display, select Enter and then press the icn_btnx_color.gif button.
For more information, see Using the On-screen Keyboard.

  5. Select a connection and press the icn_btnx_color.gif button.

  6. The web page is displayed.

  7. To hide the on-screen menu, press the icn_btntriangle_color.gif button.

To close the Internet connection:
  1. With a web page on the screen, press the icn_btncircle_color.gif button.

  2. Select Yes and press the icn_btnx_color.gif button.

  3. The internet browser will close.

If you have issues connecting to the Internet, you may wish to troubleshoot your Infrastructure mode connection.
