Hi, I am not sure what you are wanting to know? If you want to know the size of the a/c tonnage wise, its 5,000 b t u's short of being a 1 ton unit. There is 12,000 b t u's of cooling per each ton. 2 tons would be 24,000 b t u's, 30, a 2 1/2 ton unit and so on. If this is not what you needed to know, please get back to me and let me know. Sincerely, Shastalaker7
the aircodition is tripping off due to overload protection, develop a high current on circuit there are several reason, common factor is need maintenance on evaporator and condenser, have check also on starting capacitor if busted replcae capacitor of the compressor, cloging of cappilary tube is also a factor to trp off the ac.have anice day fix my rate.thanks alot
The noise may come from a plastic piece that is around the outside fan ( that picks up the water ) and cools the condenser ( coil ). the fogs maybe condensation ( warm air and cool air mixing on the window ( heat from outside on the window and cool air inside ( poor seal around the widow ( Unit) .
I think you will find that when you set the temperature, you are setting it to its lowest or ideal setting for you. When it jumps back its jumping to the temperature within its own guage reading, ie the second temperature is what it is at the moment. then it endeavers to lower that temperature to the one set by yourself. if you run the machine and keep an eye on it you should find that "jumped back" reading slowly reducing. I hope that helps(its what i,ve found anyway)
We had the same problem and changed the setting to auto and the unit seems to be working properly now. Not sure if this solves the problem, but for the past 1/2 hour the unit has stopped jumping between 00 and the temp we set.
