Hello

My apologies if this message finds you long after posting this problem , but I am currently working through a backlog of problems that never got answered and hopefully this info can still be of use if not now possibly in future.

You can try the following , but I have never tried it so it may not work.

Please download Disc Digger HERE. This is a free tool you can use that works very well and there is no installation required, just run the program once you downloaded it.

Once you have connected the memory card to the computer via either the camera or preferably with a usb card reader , run the program.

On the program , select the dig deep option for accidentaly deleted files or dig deeper for a formatted card. Then select the card you want to do the recovery on and run the program.

The data will be displayed and you can recover it from there. This will only work if the card has not been used since the pictures were lost. Save the files to a location on the computer hard drive and not back to the memory card as this will overwrite the other pictures that still needs to be recovered.

Some of the properties of the files may become lost in the recovery but the pictures should be fine.

Feel free to ask if you need more assistance.

Kind Regards
Andrea

I was told that my pictures are lost in some format, how do I retreive them

Take no more pics until you've recovered your photos, take the memory card out of the camera. This is to reduce the chance of you overwriting some of your "lost" photos. There are many good freeware photo recovery software options that may help you recover your photos. This article reviews and outlines several of the better ones.

Some pictures seem to have been deleted from the memory card and I can not figure out how to retreive them from internal memory

The delete (garbage can) on all these cameras should be used sparingly it's been the cause of more problems then enough but it's there and people use it, The memory card should be formatted every time the pictures are downloaded to the computer. That way the memory card is clean and fresh for the next series of new pictures. Now the pain about getting the pictures from internal memory to the computer is another little annoyance. Each picture from the internal memory has to be loaded to the removable memory card one at a time then when all the pictures are on the removable memory card they can be downloaded to the computer and the internal memory cleared/deleted. Retreive erased pictures from my camera - cowbell@bnin.net

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but once pictures are erased, they're gone for good. The memory is a flash type, and erasing the pictures resets all the information in the camera. Be careful, because some things (as this) are irreversible.

Internal memory is full,I have erased all

Take out memory card from camera, format internal memory to delete all pictures at once or delete them one by one.
Once memory card is inserted in camera, internal memory is no longer available to store/ delete pictures so remove memory card from camera to get access to internal memory.

Download PCInspector from www.konvar.com. Install the program. Connect up the camera to show the card[or do you use a card reader?] Run the program care fully follow the prompts. Save images to a folder on the computer.
