If under warranty, send for repair.

No warranty, open it yourself and try to open the cd tray/door. remove anything stuck between the tray/door or wriggle the tray/door.

Hey! when i put dvd/cd saids me tray init please wait and i dont know what to do mi cds are inside of te estereo!

Most drives have a tiny hole above the drawer. You need to straighten out a paper clip ,then poke it into the hole. This should release the drawer catch and you can open it by gently pulling. It may be jammed as a disk was not properly seated inside.

DVD trays out - Panasonic SA-PM39D

there are very tricky mechanical devices that detect when the trays are closed and in what position they are in
A gear or mechanical piece is not in correct order or not functioning properly and will need intense studying to determine which position they all should be in at door closed , laser mech. position , standby position
can you upload a photo of the inside of the cd mechanism?

Hi my problem is with the dvd tray it does not open . it make a funny noise but it does not open thx

OK I fixed it. One of the CD's had gotten stuck between trays in the loader. I pulled out a few CD's by forcing open the trays gently. However even after removing as many cd's as possible one was still stuck. 1. Remove screws holding cover plate on in back and sides. 2. Remove cover. 3. Lift face plate latches and lift over top of unit. Remove serial cables from connectors on board. Take face plate and place aside. Remove screws from back of CD tray unit and bend back metal tab with flathead screwdriver. Lift CD unit up on one side so you can get your fingers up inside underneath and push stuck cd towards tray openings. You can gently force top few trays out. You may need to shake unit so that stuck cd reaches open end. Pull out CD. 4. Replace faceplate and connect serial cables. Plug in power cord, power on unit and make sure trays will eject normally. 5. Put it all back together!

The DVD draw cover is stuck opened and the Standby light flashes but the tray remains inside. I am unable to close the cover or to have the draw open. It's just stuck in the up position. There is no DVD/CD...

Hi,
You can do one thing in this conditions you can resolve your issue by changing the tray with motor lens set other than this you can't do anything because in this case max there will be a damage of lens, so kindly check with this to resolve your issue.

Unable to eject CD's/DVD's

Dear blxriverrat,
Optical Lens of Home Theater got stuck and its sled-mechanism doesn't move, thats why you see message "please wait" If you can handle this system then open its top cover, open plastic cover on CD mechanism and push the Optical Lens inward-outward 2-3 times carefully. No need to say, 1st unplug your theater system from A/C outlet before opening top cover.

Disk Stuck In DVD Machine.

Hi, You need to open the machine or at least the top cover and manually extract the CD. Under the cover and on top of the loading tray is a retaining bar held by 2-4 screws. Removing these would allow you to lift the bar and remove the CD easily. In some models/version, there might be an electronic board partially covering the tray assembly. This type of problem happens when the CD is defective, was not loaded properly, or more than 1 is inside. In some cases, it is the loading mechanism that is at fault. Still in some other models/version there is an access/pin hole below the try at the faceplate where you need to insert a straightened metal paper clip to manually push out the tray. Of course the standard precautions apply, power down, remove from the mains. If you are not comfortable on do-it-yourself, maybe you should seek the services of a qualified professional. good luck and kind regards.

Disk player door

You would need to disassemble the unit to take out both the CDs. Trying to force the disk out without opening the unit might damage it. If you are not comfortable with open it, please get someone who can actually do it for you. please revert back with the results.

Tray error

I saw on another JVC systems manual that its an error message that shows when the tray isn't fully open due to an obstruction. If you can locate a manual eject button(usualy you'll need to insert some tip into it) it will help you eject the tray and look for any obstructions, anything looking out of the ordinary there. at least that way you'll be able to take your cds out... You can also try disconnecting the system from all power sources for a few days(including an internal battery), maybe the reset will jog it back to working order. If you're out of warranty and know your way around those things, try taking it apart, cleaning as much as you can, and look for anything out of the ordinary, like broken gears or pins, bent parts, a cog, etc. Good luck
