Question about Toshiba Tecra M1 PC Laptops

1 Answer

No screen This is in regards to your answer earlier, I have tried all of those and that same screen keeps coming up. I have put the operating disc in to reboot it that way but nothing even comes up recognizing the disc. The screen comes up then it counts down and then goes to the winows loading page and then does it all again and again. I can see a quick flash of a blue screen but then it does the same thing. I cant get to it. Any ideas? Thanks for the help.

You have several solutions amoung wich one of these two should help :
1° make a system restore and go back to an earlier date just before you downloaded the corrupted file .
2° or download and install MalwareBytes from http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html , let it scan your machine and eliminate any undesired file .

How do i reboot my ibm t22 laptop. it worked fine until the other day when i recieved a message that i had a virus infection from anti virus 8. i tried to restore it to an earlier date and the restore went...

Remove the battery and the AC adapter, drain the power by pressing the start button for 10 seconds and then put the battery back in and the AC adapter.

After you do that, to clear the virus follow the instructions on this link. If you can install programs on your computer, follow only steps 7 and 8 from the above link.

Reset My Acer Aspire One AOA110-1588 PC

Hi,

Backup any data you want to keep, to an external drive.

Get your operating system disc ie: Xp, Vista,

place in disc draw re-boot it, when it says "boot from disc", press return,

leave to finish, install anti-virus and update it, update the Operating system software,
install your applications, replace backed up items to saved earlier.

Your done now.

test everything you want to use.

Regards.

A blue screen just comes and stays on, what can I do? Darryl. I have a 12 inch ibook g4

Hi,
Bsod, 2 possibilities, hardware defect, and software problem,So check software.

Re-boot, keep tapping F8 while booting, enter black screen area, choose last known good, top 1

or, reboot again, F8 again, black screen, choose safe mode this time,

if/when booted, system restore, go back in time, re-boot.

or, Operating system disc in drive, reboot, when it says boot from disc, hit return, repair the o/s with the disc, (( care needed not to re-install ))

let it finish
reboot
test

I hope this helps

When i put a dvd +rw diusc into my bush dvr 3004 it wont accept

Regarding the Bush DVR3004 and the 'Smartnavi' screen, a workaround is to repeatedly press the record button on the remote while the "DISC LOADING" screen is displayed.

Dell 1501 inspiron laptop blank screen

Hi,

Have you installed any application/program prior to the blue screen? Most blue screen causes your system not to boot to your operating system anymore. It is possible that your hard drive is crashed due to a virus infections or spywares. Incompatibility and corrupted system registry may affect your system to have blue screen as well.

You may try the following steps below.

1. Restart your computer. After you pressed the power button to restart. Keep on tapping F8 key on the keyboard on and off.

2. Boot advanced option will show up on the screen. You may boot your computer to the following option.

a. Last known good configuration
b. Safe mode with Networking.

If Safe mode w/networking works, restore your computer to an earlier using the system restore features.

Keep me posted.

Regards,

jeff
