My coffeemaker had been working perfectly for over a year, and now does not turn on at all... nothing on the display and none of the buttons work. Tried different outlets, our other appliances work fine. Help!!!
I plugged in the coffeemaker at an outlet in a different room in the house. Apparently, none of the plugs in the kitchen worked (although) other appliances did work in the kitchen outlets (very strange, perhaps the coffeemaker needs more juice than other appliances) Now I have to have an electrician come out and fix the kitchen outlets...

you would have to determine if you are speaking under store credit warranty, the store will replace it with recpt usually with in 30 days, etc. or manufacture warranty if you have one it is usually 90 days maybe 1 yr. if you bought with a credit card, you have additional warranty period from visa, mastercard. check your credit card for this protection
have you checked if the water filter needs to be replaced? this happened to me before and when the filter is worn water is not getting through so try to replace it. its only $5 on Amazon so worth the cost before you toss it.
The top of the unit that covers the coffee beans has a plastic point that must depress a button on the main body of the unit when it closes to show the unit that the lid is closed properly. If this is broken (as was mine) I inserted the end of a piece of tooth pick replacing the plastic point in the lid and this now depresses the recessed button on the main unit. The beeper goes off and the on light comes on.
I'm not familiar with this exact model but the problem may be either packing in the unit...since it never worked...or that the beans have jammed the unit in such a way that none are feeding to the burr. Usually, there is a way to remove the top half of the burr after removing the beans. Brush out the area and reinstall. The instructions that came with the unit should be of value. By the way, on some of these units, if the cup isn't correctly placed, it may prevent the burr from receiving flow. Enjoy!
