After searching for and downloading the manual I found out that uour universal remote must be compatible. I have many universal remotes around the house and after trying 3 other types I found the RCA Universal RCU300T worked. And, like the digitalstream manual said, I input the codes for a satellite box/ cable box from the user manual for my RCA remote.The code that worked was a code for a Hitachi satellite box 084. Hope this helps.
Please be informed that TCL TV in not listed in the code list of RCA300T. Therefore, the remote cannot be used on a TCL TV . You can double check the manual >>HERE.
The 15-150 is not listed in the user manual. It tells you to use your universal remote guide. It says to try codes for a satellite or cable box. I used an older RCA remote (rcu300t) and found the correct code to use it. I used the Hitachi satellite box code 084. It works like a charm.
I was told by other people that the phillips codes and the magnavox codes work for viewsonic tvs and moniters with alot of universal remotes give those a try and if it works let me know what remote you were using, My universals are not working but yours may,
