Question about Canon PIXMA iP1500 InkJet Photo Printer

IP1500 printer not responding

I cannot get my printer to print. The error message says printer not responding. I have checked all connections, and still nothing.

I get error message D53 for my IP1500 indicating that I have a print head problem. Does this mean that the cartridges are all plugged up? If so, how do I clean them?


The print head is no the cartridges. You may be able to do a head cleaning by right clicking on the printer then hitting properties. Under one of the tabs should be ahead cleaning test

Cannot print anything keep getting service error 6000. Have checked connections, ink etc nohing seems to work


This is called "Display Error", First of all, check for paper jam and if so clear them.
Follow the steps below: Press Additional Functions key Press # Press > to #7 Printer Function Press Set Press > to #4 Printer Reset Press Set Press < Unplug printer and repower it.
If this doesn't help, then your printer needs service.

LED light keeps blinking


That is a service error code, but you need to count how many blinks between the longer green blink, and that tells the error code...

Prints one or two lines & then stops & says "outbind" error

The best solution is to contact Cannon on the net, ask for tech support and download any updates available for your printer (make sure they are for the operating system you are using, i.e. Windows XP Home or Professional Version, Windows Vista).

Canon MP145 Ink Absorber Full Problem.


I got on error message when started to print.
It’s kept happened and message dialog box “The ink absorber is full” occurred.
Mine is Canon MP145.
Can somebody please help me , on how to fix this problem !

are you using new cannon ink cartridges?
if you are replace the print head if your not start.
