Hi! I recommend you contact the manufacturer for the repair, but if you really want to do it by yourself you can click this link for manual http://www.manualowl.com/m/Gateway%20Computers/M-6332/Manual/145689 .

That manual doesn't cover anything deeper than replacing the keyboard and the button cover above it.

Accidentally disabled touchpad

Typically on a Gateway computer there is a series of buttons on the top of the keyboard area, including a touchpad disable button. If that is not lit, press it until it lights up. Hope this helps! If not, check out this forum that might help you. Gateway nv53 touchpad does not works

Gateway NV53A 15.6 inch Notebook, touch pad not working

Touchpad settings: right click on the touchpad icon on the Taskbar at the bottom right of the screen. Click on Default button, then Apply, then OK. Re-try. If that doesn't fix, then TouchPad ribbon inside the laptop needs to be replaced.

Blue screen shut down now black screen fan running thats about it gateway m6332

Assuming you have already tried the power adaptor and that is ok and the charging port is not loose, I think the problem may lie in overheating. The CPU will stand up to 90 degrees c but the graphics chip, which is cooled by the main fan as a secondary consideration will not.
You should remove the inspection hatch (I think on the gateway models there is a larger hatch under the laptop) and see if there is any build up of dust or debris around the cooling fan. heatsink and radiator / vents. If there is, remove it with a paint brush or hoover.

If this does not resolve the problem/ or the fan is clean, remove each ram module in turn and try booting.

If there is still no signal, try it on an external monitor, if you get a picture, the issue is with a failed screen / inverter or VGA cable. If you do not get an image, I'd stick with my original thoughts that the graphics chip has been damaged

How to open a gateway laptop m7301u

Typically the screws are accessed from the bottom of the laptop. Dell has guides for this so maybe Gateway does as well. Typically the screws will have a letter next to them indicating what they are for. "K" for keyboard excetra. You will need to remove the screws that attach the top touchpad/mouse buttons. Should be a simple fix.

Gateway laptop,left touchpad button

You would have to contact Gateway for a new part. You will need a new palm rest that has the touchpad and buttons built into it.
I would try customer service first. I can't find a good link on their home page to get repair parts.
That being said, if the computer is more than a year old, usually try e-bay first. It will be much cheaper. Just look up parts or maybe palm rest for a Gateway (and add your model).
