Question about PC Desktops

Well it boots up and works well but after about a half a hour or so it goes into like a hybernation or stand by mode and we have to turn off the cpu and turn it on. i just want to know how to keep it on.

Go to the control panel and then go to power option, then set the power settings to desktop or set the monitor and hard disk to never so it wont turn of.

Hi there

Have you tried stopping the service RPC by going into services.msc..

You have an option that should help you. You can find 2 or 3 RPC (Remote Procedure Call)... Just get into it and click on the tab RECOVERY and choose Take no action for all the 3 options.. Click on apply and ok..

Monitor displays breifly then goes to blank screen


If tried the monitor on two other computers with the same result -- definitly your monitor is faulty. Take it to the repair shop. To make double sure, run your computer with another monitor. If everything is fine now; you can blame the monitor.

Computer will not boot up.


its either the board or the processor, or possibly both of this.. but first try to remove all the hardware which all attached the cpu, and put it back on after an hour.. clean each parts..

have you try to check your battery? try to put some colling fan to your laptop to avoid hybernation of your notebook..
