This is generally caused by a hard drive failure, and 8 out of 10 times the hard drive needs replaced. However, it could be an operating system glitch. Start by doing a system repair with your recovery or operating system disc. If the repair doesn't take, the reformat the hard drive, and install a new operating system. If the hard drive will not format, or you have any issues during or after the install, then the hard drive has failed and will need replaced.

My dell labtop is black screen when i start normal windows

Hi,

It should be a hard disk problem or if you getting a beep sound with the same black screen problem then should be a RAM issue.

The best idea is to contact you dell customer care service or your DELL service engineer.

When i start my laptop it shows the dell loading screen then goes to a black screen where you can start windows normaly or go into safe mode. when you click on start windows normaly it goes to the windows...

You may need to reload windows on the hard drive. However try this first: reboot the system. Tap F8 to get to the system menu. Go to Safe mode and see if windows will load from there. If it does- try System restore to a point before the looping issue started. If it still loops, tap F12 at the Dell screen, and select the image to restore the system (reload to factory default). If you do not have that option, you will need the install media that came with your Laptop to reinstall the operating system entirely. If you do not have the drivers disk for your system- you will need to go to Support.Dell.com, enter in the service tag of your system, and download the drivers for your system.

Good luck! Also, as a reminder: Use your burner or an external hard-drive to backup your college work. Nothing makes you hate life more than having to retype a 20page paper from your edited rough draft and outline due to a system crash or virus! (personal experience. History paper.)
