Recorded messages cant be retrieved from Panasonic answering machine
My mom has a Panasonic KX-TG6071S cordless phone/answering machine. She is saying that people are leaving her messages, and her message light blinks; however, when she plays messages, the voice says "end of messages". I am far from her...it's also possible she's doing something wrong (?). Any suggestions for how I can help her by phone would be appreciated. This is the product number, not what is listed below, but your system won't allow me to submit the request unless I choose something from the dropdown...thanks

Re: recorded messages cant be retrieved from Panasonic...
You've probably done something about the problem by now but just wanted to tell you that the only items that appear on the drop-down apparently are only those the site owner has chosen to list.
I am here often and do not remember seeing nay any to add an unlisted product.
Strange thing to omit.

I am sorry. Your answering machine has about 14 minutes recording time.
Space is limited. After you delete a message to make room and new
messages are recorded, so old messages are pretty much shredded and un-retrievable. But
even if the message memory has not been totally rewritten, I believe
deleted message are lost for ever. That is what I read on the manual
for a GE or Panasonic phone user manual.
KX-TGA 101S is the model number of the hand-set. Can you send me the model number of the answering machine? Also do you have the manual for both hand-set and answering machine? If not I can give you the link to download both manuals for free.
Step 1Begin the recording process by first locating the "Change" button on your answering machine. This button initializes the answering machine for adjustments to the settings of the various features.
Step 2:Locate the microphone on your answering machine and lean towards it until you are about nine inches away.
Step 3:Locate the "Annc" button. Press and hold the "Annc" button until it beeps. Begin recording your message.
Step 4:Watch the message window while you are recording your message. It keeps track of how much time has elapsed since you began recording. You can record a message that is up to three minutes long.
Step 5:Locate the "Stop" button and press it when you have finished recording your message. The answering machine will play your message back at this point. If you are not satisfied with your message, repeat the steps to record it again.
Step 6:Press "Annc" if you want to listen to your message again.
