Re: water in my phone it switches off when I try to use...
ANNJ - you should take the phone to a mobile service center and ahve them service the phone first.
WORLDVET - if you are a tech would would you advice them to do that instead of having the phone professionally service knowing that if you do that by allowing it to just sundry that does not do anything to the parts that are still covered by the housing...that is not a GOOD SOLUTION FROM YOU

Dropped the cell phone in water If you would have accidently dropped your cell phone in water or it fell in water you can try fixing it be these below tips 1.Remove the battery of the mobile and try drying it with a hair dryer 2.Put the cell phone in a raw rice container for a day, the rice will soak the moisture and the mobile will become dry from inside 3.After that put the battery back on and try switching, there are more chances now that it will work 4.Never try to instantly switch on the cell phone after taking it out from water you should follow the above steps, switching it on instantly can lead to short circuit in mobile and the cell software can get damaged 5.You can also put the phone in light sunlight (not in very hot direct sunlight) after removing the battery do not put the battery in sunlight though 6.Also make sure you keep the SIM card out of the mobile
By taking these steps you can make a fair attempt to save your mobile from dying.
i personally wouldn't risk further damage by taking it apart to try and dry it off. one trick i use and it may seem silly but does work is to soak it in uncooked rice for a few hours the rice will pull out the water after some time and can help the device work. If the device had been submerged or soaked for any substantial amount of time with the battery in it, it may be a lost cause fyi.
Due to hazard some phones are not working. If you dropped in water try with this steps.
Use cotton swabs to soak up water in crevices and on any fragile, exposed circuits. If you have dropped your cellphone in water, it is also helpful to disassemble it if you can and let all the parts dry separately.
If the phone will turn on, you can try to make a call to be sure it is working properly. If you put your water damaged cellphone back together and it won't turn on, it is likely that some water has gotten down inside the phone.
If dropped in floor, please bring it to service center for repair.
Try to get it dry keep it in hot place after removing the battery leave it for 2 days and then try to charge the phone, check when you switch on the charger any sound comens of starting the chargeing process, if possible try the phone with some other battery, as the service center is saying it cannot be repaird may be the interner circuits may have fgot damaged
You can also use a hair dryer after opening the cell phone.
Do not put the battery on or switch on the cell till the time you are not sure its dry completely. You can also try this leave the phone in a bag of raw rice for a night it will become dry as the rice will soak the water
first switch the cell off and directly remove the battery after removing the cover. Then use a non heat air blower, fully dry it then only switch on the phone and then check the screen, if it lights up with your wallpapper you are good to go. if there is still water some option might not work till the whole phones dried. mine was fully functional after 10 hours in rainy season. ALL THE BEST. P.S. NO HOT HAIR DRYERS, COLD AIR BLOWERS PLEASE, YOU MIGHT RUIN SOME COMPONENTS IF YOU USE HEAT.
