Samsung lcd 40" tv with a serious colour issue. Checked ...+Troy Simpson Happy to hear everything is working now. Thanks for watching .... Weird thing is that it just happens somethimes and no one knows why. IMO it's some ...
sounds like a driver issue. try to update the driver for it. if it says you're using the most up to date version, then uninstall the driver, visit the manufacturer's website, download the driver, and reinstall it. If that doesn't work, then the hardware itself may be busted.
Remove the power cord, remove the battery, turn the laptop over and remove any screws you see inside the battery compartment. Also look on the bottom and in the battery case for any keys that might have the icon of a keyboard beside them (they hold the keyboard in place). You might have to remove all the screws from the bottom case if the laptop's design does not have a separate strip that sits above the keyboard. Once you have the screws remove, turn the laptop over and open the lid. If there laptop has a strip above the keyboard, then pry it off gently because a cable might be under it. If it does not have a strip, but is all one big piece called the palmrest that surrounds the keyboard, then the keyboard might have little catches on the sides and at the top that you can move and wiggle the keyboard out. if not you will have to remove the palmrest. Also if you have the strip above the keyboard, once you remove it you might see screws that hold the keyboard then remove them.
Be careful when you lift the keyboard out, there is a cable under it that has to be removed from the board.
You can download the driver from this link:
http://ts.fujitsu.com/support/downloads.html
On the left side of the page there is a link "Driver & downloads". Click on it, then on the middle area of the page, under "SELECT PRODUCT" you will select "Notebooks".
A new menu appears, select "LIFEBOOK".
A new menu appears, select "LIFEBOOK E".
A new menu appears, select "LIFEBOOK E8410 (Intel Graphic)" or "LIFEBOOK E8410 (Intel Graphic)". (Makes no difference, since the audio card is the same ALC262 in both versions).
After this, there appears a list with operating systems available. Select the one you are using, then select "Audio".
I would suggest to install first the "Chipset" driver from the same list, then restart the computer and after restart install the audio driver.
Best regards
