Question about Nikon COOLPIX L3 Digital Camera
I was recently given a Nikon Coolpix L3 from a friend of mine.... The camera works great and I love the pictures... But when I plugged the cord from the camera to my computer nothing happened.... Does my camera need to be on? I dont know what to do.... Ive tried everything possible and I cant get my pictures to upload.... Someone please help me
First you need the Nikon software to detect the camera especially in older operating systems.
The newest operating systems, even Linux should detect the camera as a portable drive or mass storage.
Another way is to use a card reader and eliminate completely the camera to computer drivers and software.
I always use the card reader instead of camera in most cases simply because I am using so many different kinds of cameras, it would not make sense to install software and drivers for every kind.
