The aspect button only gives me the zoom and the standard size picture. I used to get the 4/3 picture which is normal size. How can I get the regular picture back. I am programmed to a Time Warner Cable remolt.

Helo If the remote control you uses with your Hitachi is a universal one, there will be some malfunctions occur with remote button presses and TVs response. If it is its original one, the remote controls keypad circuit prints comes at the back of keypad is dirty. You have to open it, and clean it with medical quality turpentine or recitfied spriit. Never use hard solvents like petrol or so, as it will damage the rubber pad of the remote control.OK.

First, there is no such thing as a 'universal' remote. There are numerous makers of 'multi-brand' remotes and they just lie a lot; they need to be sued.

You might try any (or all) of those to see if your Hitachi remote has codes for those brands.
