Black lines on copy come from toner cartridge, or drum unit, or fuser unit which is in the back. check drum and see if you can see line, back of machine with flash light you may be able to see line on fuser roller. Be carefull Fuser is hot.
A copy that is good and then starts to get lines usually the drum unit...
You could have a build up of ink on your rollers, and as the paper is pushed through it is leaving marks. It could also be causing your ghosting effect or double lines. By having your printer cleaned by a certified technician it should reslove your issue.
ok..first you will need to print the nozzle check and see if all the color are printed out fine.. this feature is under the printer properties , under the utility tab.... assuming all your colors nozzle are printed fine..then the next thing for you to do is do the Print Head Alignment.. it's under the same place where you print the nozzle check.. when you press the Print Head Alignment, it will print a page out with many lines.. choose the one with the best alignment.. once u done that..try printing the image again.. oh..if your nozzle check print out is not good.. then you will need to perform head cleaning to clear the clogged head..
The narrow pink line is coming from your magenta toner/drum cartridge. You may be able to open the from cover and look at the 4 toners. If you look at the magenta (like pink) cartridge, you might see the thin line on the drum surface.
The multicolored band that sometimes shows up on your prints is most likely the transfer belt unit. This is caused by an area of the belt that is not being cleaned very well. This probably tends to show up when you are running mutilple prints of a page.
So it looks like to may need to replace your magenta toner and look at getting a transfer belt unit.
Hello sir;The streak line from printing also should be from copy, because the line come from imaging unit, check the meter count if close to or over 50,000 then replace drum and drum blade, it will take care the problem.
The brother printer you need to replace imaging unit( drum unit).
What ever color the line is you need to replace that photoconductor unit. They can be ordered from a Ricoh dealer and come with instructions for installing.
