Re: Epson R265. In trying to print DVD lables using the "Print CD" program supplied, I am informed the appropriate printer is not installed? Which it obviously is! I've tried uninstalling the printer, driver and program, then reinstalling them several times and rebooting... Still no go! Can anyone help please?

In most cases the printer driver software can have errors while being in use or is shut down. So to reset remove your printer from the PC and uninstall the printer software. Now reinstall the printer software and then connect the Printer to be detected as a new hardware as it will be installed. Now check the printer properties to see the ink levels. Activate head cleaning before a test is taken . Sometimes it is possible that the head is not reacting to the need of the PC command or can be an issue with ink drying orpoor ink cartridge contacts.
To print CD/DVD use the prg Epson Print CD for the Epson R200. It works fine and all troubles will result solved. The prg coming with R265 fails and crashs. Nothing to do.
It's a shame for Epson.

Check status monitor if empty or low:
Replace if empty ect:
Soak the cartridge nozzles upright in Flush Solution for 6 hours dry and retry , make up a A4 Paper colour printing page with each colour band about 1" high x 8" wide and print out 4 - 6 pages checking which colour band is poor:
Keep printing if improvement noticed:
Resoak the offending cartridges and repeat:
Use cleaning cartridge on offending colour slot/s then retry:
Dont use the head cleaning utility to much as it is programmed to disable your printer after a pre-set number of cleans and will have to be serviced:
With my Epson came "Epson Print CD" software. You need to set the inner diameter as shown in the picture below.
If you are using other software let us know what it is and we can suggest how to set it.
