I am going to answer your question with a question and few helpful tips... The microsoft 2007 is only a part of the whole microsoft office 2007 which would most likely include ms office word and excel (except if the cd which you used to install this product is purely for powerpoint since some suites can be sold separately) Is the powerpoint software something you have installed yourself on the computer or was it a preloaded application on the computer when it was purchased? All microsoft office suites would require the user to enter a 25 digit product key which is usually found on the sticker of the package which comes with the cd. If the ms office program was preloaded, computer manufacturers would ship out a card with the computer which will contain the product key. In either case if you already lost the sticker or the card I strongly recommend that you just purchase ms office 2010 from best buy or staples. The version is better and it will save you time and grief. Hope you find this helpful.
Product no is nothing but the product key which you get once when you have purchased microsoft office 2007 which would be listed just below the CD cover when you slide it.
Its the 25 digit code. if you are not able to find the product key then please call the microsoft and they would be generating the new product key using the part number which is at the back of your installation CD
When you buy a new computer, quite frequently it will come with a trial version of MS Office installed. To get the 25-digit product key, you would need to buy the full version from microsoft.com or in any software store.
As a free alternative: OpenOffice is a free application which is 100% compatible with all MS Office applications. You can download this for free from www.openoffice.org.
