You just remove the first one and slip in the new one
if the system doesn't recognise it which is not likely
just tell me because sometimes vista doesn't see them.

I am trying to use my SanDisk mobilemate SD + can you tell me how to use it ? I want to put data from one computer onto another.

Plug the SanDisk into the first computer. It should show up as a disk drive. You can drag&drop files from your computer to the SanDisk the same way you copy files around on your computer. Then remove the SanDisk (depending on the operating system, you may have to "unmount" it first) and plug it into the second computer. Drag&drop files from it to the computer's hard drive.

How do I use a scan disk flashdrive to store the pictures on my computer

I am assuming you have a SanDisk flash drive which has some picture files and you want to download into the computer.

If you have a Windows XP or Vista running on your computer, you simply insert the flash drive onto the USB port. The flash drive will be selected as Drive F: or G: depending on what else is on your PC.

You then transfer these files to your C: drive. This should store the files.

You have not mentioned where these files have come from - if these are from another computer then you can open them directly on your PC.

But if these are created from either a camera or a mobile phone then you should be able to open these on your computer if these are JPG or AVI files.

Hope this helps.

I lost the directions for using a micro mini

Find a USB-port on your computer.
Insert the flash-drive into the USB port.
Windows will report "found new hardware", and will assign a "drive-letter" (e.g., 'A:' is your diskette drive, 'C:' is your disk-drive, 'D:' is your CD-ROM device) to the device.

Then, use "Windows Explorer" to drag-and-drop files onto the new drive-letter (probably 'E:').

I have a compac vista laptop and am trying to download pics on my sandisk cruzer micro 2gb Any instructions available?

All you have to do is drag the pictures off your computer onto the cruzer drive. You can treat it just like a 2nd harddrive.

How do i get pictures from my comp. onto my sandisk??????????

Hello, Dylan.

When you place the SanDisk Flash Drive into one of your USB ports (rectangular in shape), you should see a message that your computer recognizes it as your "x" drive (probably E, F, or G drive). Dont's force the Flash drive into the port. If it doesn't fit, flip it over. It only goes in one way.

Then, go to My Documents - My Pictures (or other location where your pictures are stored). Open up your flash drive letter from My Computer as well. Drag and drop the photos.

Hope this helps.

Cruzer Micro 8GB flash drive - no user manual

Open Windows Explorer on your PC. You should see it there when you expand the "my computer" tree on the left side (click the + symbol next to 'my computer'). It will show up as a drive letter, depending on how many hard drives and optical drives you have in your system, it could be drive letter "E", "F" or even higher. It will probably say "Cruzer" next to the drive letter. All you have to do is drag and drop your files onto the drive letter. Simple, you don't need instructions.
