Question about Siemens Computers & Internet
You are possibly trying to install an older (non-Vista) OS onto a new computer that comes with a SATA hard drive instead of ATA.
All you have to do is the find the SATA drivers from the manufacturer and load them ahead of the install specifics of how to do this varies but if you are tring to do this for Windows XP you will need to load it through a floopy and press F6 when prompted near the beginning of the install or you can create a custom install disk that includes the necessary SATA drivers.
