It sounds like you have bricked your psp there are ways around this but its to do with changing settings and adding a recovery program to your psp (in other words hacking) but i aint the expert on this but if you search it up on youtube you can find some great videos that people have uploaded with the same problem as you and they show you how to get around your problem, im stuck with a problem with a region code not been correct and i dont know if i need to use the recovery program to help me through it.

Have version 6.35 on memory stick via network update but it wont seem to work when i go to install it it goes to a screen showing psp and wont go any further please help

Okay I'm not exactly sure how your screen looks but it might be the following:
1. Your computer/PSP didn't download the update correctly.
2. Your memory stick might be malfunctioning.

If its (1) then try:
- re-downloading it through the PSP
- re-downloading it on your computer and then putting on the memory stick again.

If it might be (2) then try:
- Another memory card and the above

HINTS:
- Follow this website http://us.playstation.com/support/systemupdates/psp/pc/index.htm
- Turn of the PSP completely before trying.
- Have the PSP charging at the time of update.

Cheers :)

P.S:
If that doesn't work can you somehow upload/take a picture of the screen it shows?

Your PSP is bricked. I'm not 100% sure but Pandora's Battery should work on your Slim.

My psp hang too

He might have kicked the LCD screen out of place.... If you don't have a warranty on it, then open it up and see if the LCD wires are correctly intact. There are two wires that connect to the LCD. One of them is extremely fragile so becareful with that one (it's under the LCD screen). Make sure you don't just pull the LCD out by force. Go slowly. Also, check this site out on how to open up the psp.

And telling me which model (Fat, 2000, 3000) would've helped me better...

And it could have also been the mobo. You can check once you open it, if it was the mobo, buy one from ebay (it's cheaper than having to buy a newer console.
