The F61 is a shorthand for protection mode. This means that a problem was detected and the unit shutdown to prevent further damage. If you can post the model number, I can provide the part number and cost.

Error F61

Check and correct the speaker cord connections. If this does not fix the problem, there is a power supply problem. Consult the dealer.

When i turn it on, it says F61

Given the error message, I'm going to guess that you have a Panasonic shelf unit with CD and cassette built in. If so, then the F61 means "protect" mode. This indicates that the unit has detected a problem in the final amplification stage and has shutdown. The fix for this is to replace the output amplifier pac and/or the regulator IC. If it is the amp-pac, expect a parts cost between $75 -$95.

NEED TO AVERAGE CELLS, WHERE ONE OR MORE CELLS CONTAIN ''0'' OR ''#D

Try this. If any of the cells are zero (or blank), the word 'zero' will be displayed. Substitute anything you want for the text including blank ""

=IF(OR(F61=0,J61=0,N61=0),"zero",AVERAGE(F61,J61,N61))

F61 error

The F61 error indicates that the unit is in "protect" mode. This means that an error condition was detected in the amp section and the unit has shutdown. This is usually caused by a defective amp chip. Expect a parts cost in the range of $60-$90.

F61 in AK 600

There are a couple of possibilities:

1) The output amp-pac has failed and nneds to be replaced.
2) The power regulator pac is bad and nneds to be replaced.

Either option is somewhat expensive. Unfortunately without seeing the actual machine and taking measurements inside, there is no way for me to be sure what option fits here. I would take this to an authorized Panasonic repair center and have it repaired there. Expect a parts cost in the $50-$75 range.

Panasonic sa-ht995 will not work ...... when turned on it says hello.......then f61 then turns off again how do i fix this problem?

F61 in the user manual says , check your speaker connections if ok then see your dealer, the reason f61 comes up is a amplifier fault , most likely a blown audio amplifier ic is faulty, and needs replaceing by a compenent electronic technician.

The F61 indicates protect mode. There is a problem with the output stage of the amplifier section and the unit shuts down to prevent further damage. This unit will require service of the amp section. You can try to contact Panasonic for the service manual.
