Try it in another computer. If the flash drive has failed there is no way to recover it without the use of expensive software. You can hire the services of a data recovery company to do it. That is why it is important to back up. Could be a windows issue if it works in another pc. Plug it in and open your device manager and see if it is listed under storage. If it is, delete it. Remove the flash drive and plug it back in, windows should detect it again.

I have 2 thumb drives which i can not retrieve information that was saved on both of them. I reviewed the properties on both and it shows they are at full capacity which they were not before. What is...

The Pen drive might be Infected by viruses and hence they are limiting your access to the drive. Run an scan on the Pen drive and then try to open you should be able to access the files. If you don't have an anti virus program installed on the computer then i Would suggest you to install a free version of Kaspersky and run the scan and that should take care of the problem.
If you want to download Kaspersky then click on the below link http://www.kaspersky.com/anti-virus_trial

My card is not showing other pictures i had save on it...verizon said the card was broken ....anyway to get my pictures off

If the card is physically broken on the inside there is no way to retrieve the lost information off of it but if it is not you do have an option you can use recovery software to retrieve the lost data. You can you Cb7 to recover your lost files and it can be downloaded from: http://www.educ.umu.se/%7Ecobian/programz/Cb7Setup.exe

Lacie Hard-drive

Hello my friend, regarding on your problem the contents of your hard-drive is safe no need to worry cause the data is still there. Unless the hard-drive itself is corrupted that's the time your data will lost. To make it safe, you can retrieve the content of your hard-drive either if you have tools and skills in fixing hard-disk then youn open it and manually attach  the hard-drive to your computer using the appropriate conector you have or you can find a technician in your place to fix and scan your hard-drive and to help you evaluate the main reason of your problem and also to save the contents of your hard-drive. Hope this information helps you if you need more assistance then just post some reply in here.

How can i recover the data from my flash drive after forced to format

Deleting or formatting won't make the data in USB drive erased permanently.

Those deleted data is still stored on the USB drive , it's just invisible or inaccessible. Only the FAT or NFTS table is erased (the information about where those data were saved), but the real data are still intact there in sectors of the hard drive.

So as long as those data are not overwritten by new data, it's highly possible to recover them. And the MOST Effective way is to rely on some format recovery programs.

Try this flash drive recovery program named asoftech data recovery, which can recover data after deeply scanning your USB drive to look for lost data you accidentally deleted or formatted.
