More than likely you've got a misconfigured display setting on your computer, either your resolution isn't set properly or you have a feature such as extended desktop turned on. What operating system are you running?

Your display settings are wrong go to the display settings in control panel and change the resolution this site will tell you the correct size for your screen top left of your browser where it gives you the option to either Minimise,Restore or close click the middle one to restore this will bring your browser to the full size of your screen and re set the page to fit accordingly if that doesnt help try the link below http://docs.mioplanet.com/lcd_monitor_resolution_chart.php

Google chrome page is too far to the right-can't read entire page or move it to left
Try "grabbing" (click and hold) the top menu bar and dragging the window over so you can see the other side of the screen, then re-size it by clicking on the right side and pulling the window so it fits.

My mother has the canon pixma mx310 all-in-one. She tried to use the scanner tonight, and it randomly didn't work (it did not long ago). It said something about maintenance and to try when it is finished....
A web search suggested thihs would be the reason for the 21140 code>

Issue: "The selected paper size is not supported by your printer..." appears after selecting the Paper Size in the printer driver.

Solution: Use Fit-to-Page Printing (Windows)

Use Fit-to-Page Printing (Windows) The Fit-to-Page function automatically resizes the image to fit the size of the page being used. Letter size image data, for example, will automatically be printed on 4" x 6" size paper. Paper sizes larger than the printer can handle will be available on the Page Setup of the printer driver but will not print unless the Fit-to-Page function is enabled. Note: The Fit-to-Page Printing function is not available when Borderless Printing is selected.
  1. Access the printing preferences by opening the printer Properties / Preferences:

    For Windows Vista
    • Click / Select 'Start' from the bottom left of the Windows screen, 'Control Panel', 'Hardware and Sound', and then click on 'Printers'. Note: If you are in 'Classic' view, Click 'Printers' directly from the 'Control Panel'.
    • Click your right mouse button on the listing for your printer, and then select 'Preferences' from the menu that appears.
    For Windows XP Home Edition

Screen moves
WinXP: Right click on blank desktop, click Properties, click Settings tab. Move the "Screen resolution" slide bar so that the whole screen is used up. In your case the vertical resolution is higher than the screens or horizontal resolution is not high enough.
Screens tends to do scaling. Check the "Native Resolution" of the screen and set it as the Screen Resolution.
