Hi, my lexmark x5470 have same problems all time the scanner arrive at 50% or 70% of the image and than stopped and all been blocked.Why?I try to organize all programs of destination, used another type of software not lexmark and nothing sometimes just doesn't work and I must do control+alt+canc to begin again but always the same problem and I just try to save on my computer a scanner images of the old pictures of my family..??? I don't no, please help me!!! TK

You can download the Lexmark X5470 driver from the Lexmark website at http://bit.ly/aNFBAO. Click on the Microsoft or Macintosh drop-down to choose the version of your computer's operating system. See image below:

NOTE: Use Vista driver in Windows 7.

Type the exact model number of your printer(e.g. Lexmark X5410, Lexmark X5470, Lexmark X5490, etc) found just below the images of some of Lexmark's printers then hit Select. On the next page, choose the operating system of your computer by clicking on the Microsoft or Macintosh dropdown found below the page. on your computer:
click on start
all programs / programs
check for the lexmark folder ( lexmark 5400 Series )
check if there is any application under it ( AIOC , Productivity Studio, or Imaging Studio )
If there is:
check your firewall, this might be blocking the application list.
If there's none:
Using the disc:
My Computer / Computer
Open your CD/DVD drive where the lexmark disc is
Open application folder
Run Setup under application folder.
This should update the software
I solved my problem by powering off, which I knew would lose the faxes in memory. However, I decided to have the faxes re-sent. As soon as I get time, I will address this issue with Lexmark. It seems incomprehensible to me that Lexmark does not provide instructions on how to do this.
