Washer door to my Frigidaire model # GLTF1040ASO will not close.

hello, it sounds like you have a bad door latch that needs to be replaced if you need a web sight on were to order one let me know and i'll find the part for you.

If the washer fills with water, but will not start the wash cycle or spin, it is 1 of to things. the most common for frigidaire front load affinitys is the door lock assembly. I have had to replace numerous of these. if the door lock indicator is not on when it tries to wash, you need to replace the door lock assembly. if the door lock indicator is on, but wont wash, it is likly that you have a bad motor control board.

you might have a damaged door lock mechanism.it might be jammed in the closed position,and should be changed
