I had same problem! engineer came out and changed oven thermostat and problem was solved!
so replace your thermostat or get someone to do it and all will be ok,
or just turn off cooker on wall switch and only switch it on when you need it, that's if you can put up with it and need to save money

Grill turns on when cooker is turned from the isolater,

I assume you mean if the main electrical isolation is switched to on , the grill/ upper oven heats up even though the grill / upper oven switch is correctly set to off ......if this is the case you require a replacement thermostat for the upper oven I believe these are now obsolete and the alternative comes as a kit part no. 012959401 to modify the wiring replace both upper and lower oven thermostats see instructions attachedcid:eb5fa66b-5b72-4dad-aafc-a1f3a691fb03

Hi newish oven, seems when all the ovens are off the fan is blowing cold air, any ideas?

cold air from the fan forced element area in the oven? or from the air vent just above the door? if its from the air vent then this is normal if your oven senses the outside cabinet is getting to hot it will bring on the fan and if its still to hot after u turn it off the fan will continue as its circuit doesnt run through the control knobbs meaning it wont turn off with the oven its controlled via a overload thermostat so the fan will remain on til it gets within its acceptable temp range and the thermostat will cut power to the fan, if it remains on for hours and hours or even days you will be looking at a new thermostat (cheap as dirt like only a few bucks) or worst case a controller

Top oven thermostat Stoves 800DF - fitting?

Hi, we have had one of these ovens for 8 years (it was in the house we moved into). We had a new control fitted for the top oven (it took the repair company three tries to get the right part) and the problem didn't go away. To be honest, we can't stand this oven but are waiting until we replace the entire kitchen to replace it. The bottom oven is fine. The top oven is fierce and burns food all the time. Overall it's a ridiculous oven - I'd much prefer a sensibly-sized one that actually worked well! Rant over.

Can not control oven temperature

Sounds like the oven control module is defective. replace module. Can order part online or from a local appliance parts supplier.

Chef fan forced oven stopped heating up - fan and lights still working OK. Screws on element are stuck

the first thing that goes bad is the element, electric stoves work like the light switch on the wall and light bolt. the element is like the light bolt and the thermostat works like the light switch on the wall. and like the light bolt they do go bad often. so the element needs replacing. but before that i check for power to the element, making sure the thermostat supplies electricity.

Oven cooling fan keeps on spinning

Sounds like you have a oven probe or (if equipped) computer issue. From the looks of it, you dont have a computer on this model, so you probably have a thermostat stuck somewhere in there. The thermostat closes at the set temp, then opens when the unit cools. Sounds like this one is stuck in the closed position, allowing the fan to run all the time. You will have to look and see if you have a wiring diagram on the back of the unit, then find the fan wires and see which thermostat controls it. If no diagram, follow the wires out of the fan and see if on runs to a thermostat. Good luck and let me know if you need further info.

Oven heats up then cuts out, no light etc then comes back tolife after 5/10 mins.

Sounds like it could be the thermal cut out switch - I am having a similar problem. The switch is about £10 delivered from the Stoves spares dept. I can't work out how to open the top to change the switch though! Have you managed to solve the problem and can you add anything re opening the top?!

The cooker stays warm when mains cooker switch is on.

Either teh grill element or the oven heating element is fault or the thermostat or grill regulator, locate which element is warm, if the grill then it is most likely the regulator, if it is the oven it is the thermostat. Engineer
