Hello, I have a HP Color Laserjet 5550DN that works great. Except when I try to print out some photo's on a regular piece of paper. It says "not enough memory". The photo's are about 4MB in size. The printer has the standard 128MB memory installed. Is it an option to maximise the memory to 512MB? Will that fix my problem? Hope to hear from you.

It would appear not to take 5 x 7. It's the 7" is to small, 8.5 is the smallest.

Check paper path. Small piece of paper can cause "paper jam"

Problem solve someone tried to print a PDF file which lodged the fault our It Dept deleted the print spool and Re-set the printer all ok.

change the paper type in the printer properties and try.

After pressing print you will get a pop-up with a printing preferences button on it click the button and select the correct paper and print quality.

Did you change any of the configurations on your printer. Most photo printers have color settings that are media dependent. It sounds like you might have it set to print on regular paper but not on photo paper. There are a lot of settings that you can accidentally change on a printer so I would suggest uninstalling the printer then reinstalling it and see if that is the issue.
