Question about Canon SmartBase MP360 All-In-One InkJet Printer
MP360 Printer is identified but I am getting error messages "There is no Scanner selected, Please select a scanner". when I press ok for this message another message pops up "A supported scanner is not installed, Please install a supported scanner and then restart Toolbox". These messages appear when I use the Toolbox 4.1 for the above Scanner. I dont know how else I can SCAN documents, as I dont see any button/tools for scanning documents in MP360. Please help!. Jacob.
One thing to check and be sure of is that your printer cable (USB) is definately a USB 2.0 cable. Canon have an issue with their printers with scanners in that the data flow sometimes isn't sufficient when an older USB cable is used. The slightest drop of data on startup or during scanning will cause a stop.
Worth trying and has sometimes solved the problem for my customers.
