There is a tiny on/off switch, that controls the backlighting when the lid is opened/closed, located near the hinges, usually, on a laptop, sometimes the switch will stick due to dirt ,dust, loose hinges...etc. locate the switch and free it from its obstructions, if any.
All USB not working? If not remove USB device re-boot and then re insert USB device. Still does not work check Device Manager look for any errors under the USB list. That said, how old is your Samsung and what are you using in your USB port?
the most likly suspect is the socket in the laptop, after some time they get warn and the connections on the motherboard come loose if you take it to a pc repair centrue for a fee they can disassemble the laptop and re solder the socket to the board.
Please remove battery and connect charger and turn on computer. If on adapter working fine, now connect battery without removing charger , and check charging.
Hook a spare monitor to the video ouput usually on the back, if picture okay! the problem is the new LCD screen or video cable which you replaced, if both show the same symptom it is the video graphics card normally built into the motherboard.
Hi, I have a Samsung R519. One day i tried to turn it on after our power was out and didn't want to switch on. I formatted the laptop and it went on. But after I restarted it, it just show my back screen and don't load windows. I thought it could just be a setting in bios. But sometimes when I go into the bios it freezes. I removed the Ram and Hard Drive just to try a reset on it, what can I do???
you have to go on Samsung Site in that site you will find option support and Download from that just you type u r laptop model no you will get touchped driver just download in your othere dive from ther rum in to windows u will able to use your touchpad hope fully
